Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Thursday receives in audience the former Kano State Governor and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on a condolence visit in his office.
Speaking during the visit, Senator Kwankwaso who was accompanied by his aids and Kano PDP stakeholders, said the visit was to sympathize with Governor Umaru Fintiri and people of Adamawa on the death of Baba Umaru Badami.
Doctor Kwankwaso described the sadden incidence as a great lost to Nigerians and urged the Governor, and people of Adamawa to bear the lost as according to him death is inevitable to every mortal.
He used the medium to congratulate Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his victory at the polls and subsequent inauguration into office and prayed to God to guide him through the task ahead.
Senator Kwankwaso enumerated the pedigree of Governor Umaru Fintiri and hoped that under the PDP administration in Adamawa the citizenry will reap abundant dividends of democracy.
Responding, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri thanked the former Kano state Governor and his entourage on the condolence visit and prayed to Allah to reward them abundantly.
The Governor maintained that Adamawa is a PDP stronghold and reiterated his commitment that in the next few years the state will experience an unprecedented turn around for the betterment of all.
Governor Umaru Fintiri expressed the hope that the good relationship between Adamawa and Kano people will be maintained for the robust socioeconomic development of both states.
